A young, volunteer journalist trained by SWIFT partner BBC Media Action has put his broadcast skills to good use in eastern Kenya. When Sayid discovered that a cholera outbreak was killing people in his native Wajir County, he spontaneously made a one-off radio programme, offering public health advice. Its success led to a weekly programme tackling cholera.
